Senior Fullstack Engineer
Job Summary
Partnering with the CTO and executive team, the remote Senior Fullstack Engineer will design, build, and scale a mortgage technology platform, focusing on backend systems, third-party integrations, and delivering features across a mix of microservices and monolith architectures.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features across Rails API services, TypeScript/Node services, a GraphQL gateway, and React frontends
- Own integrations with external platforms, including data mapping, sync, and reconciliation
- Lead technical design for significant features and mentor other engineers through code reviews and design feedback
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience building and running production web applications
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, and GraphQL
- Experience with distributed, event-driven systems and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices
- Bonus points for experience in mortgage tech or similar regulated domains
