Senior Fullstack Engineer

Job Summary

Building and evolving Quicksilver UI, the full-time Senior Fullstack Engineer will develop Spotify's multi-channel messaging platform, managing frontend features in React and TypeScript while collaborating across the stack to enhance tools for operators in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quicksilver UI for in-app messages, emails, and push notifications
• Own frontend features from design to implementation, including debugging backend services and improving API contracts
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine features based on operator needs and enhance the developer experience

Required Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript and modern UI frameworks, particularly React
• Familiarity with state management, GraphQL, and API contracts like gRPC and REST
• Ability to work across frontend and backend systems, including Java and cloud infrastructure tools like GCP and BigQuery
• Experience in building tools or platforms for internal users with a focus on user experience
• Understanding of technical debt and the implications of system maintenance and improvement
