Senior Fullstack Ruby Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Fullstack Ruby Engineer to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, ship, and own end-to-end features using Ruby on the backend and Next.js on the frontend
- Design and implement APIs, data models, background jobs, and UIs with a focus on performance and usability
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape the product roadmap and deliver high-quality user experiences
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in full stack engineering roles
- Deep knowledge of Ruby (Rails or similar frameworks)
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including writing queries, designing schemas, and optimizing performance
- Frontend experience using Next.js, React, or a similar component-based JavaScript framework
- Comfortable working in a startup environment and able to work autonomously
