Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage Agile activities, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and document business, functional, and technical requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects while supporting Agile methodology and backlog refinement sessions
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with additional experience substituting for education
- Expertise with JIRA tools and a strong background in large Agile software development projects
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
- Experience working in an Agile environment, preferably within a Federal Health Agency
