Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to document and manage requirements using Agile methodologies in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and documentation of business, functional, and technical requirements for software projects
- Manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, specifically JIRA, and facilitate backlog refinement sessions
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and removing impediments to ensure successful project delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies, with additional experience substitutable for education
- Expertise in JIRA tools and experience with large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
