Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development, collaborating with stakeholders and utilizing Agile methodologies in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities and facilitate user interviews to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects while ensuring clear communication with development teams and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
