Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, manage requirements in an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, and perform Agile requirement management activities while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and IT
- Manage and coordinate requirements for various projects, ensuring effective communication and documentation
- Facilitate Agile methodologies, including backlog refinement sessions and support for Sprint teams
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Expertise with JIRA tools and experience in large Agile software development projects
- Strong background in conducting user interviews and developing business process models
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
