Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
Leading the capture of business requirements for software development teams, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business users and IT to document requirements, manage Agile processes, and serve as a product functional Subject Matter Expert in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and management of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Support Agile methodologies by managing backlogs, performing backlog refinement, and removing impediments for successful Sprint completion
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Advanced experience with JIRA tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong background in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
