Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capture and management of business requirements for software development teams while working remotely and ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the capture and documentation of business requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
- Perform Agile requirement management activities, including backlog refinement and user story elaboration
- Facilitate communication between business users, IT, and leadership to ensure alignment on project requirements
Required qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and Agile methodologies
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline
- Advanced experience with JIRA tools for requirements management
- Strong background in large Agile software development or data integration projects
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
