Senior Functional Analyst
Job Summary
To support software development teams, the fully remote Senior Functional Analyst will lead the capturing of business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage requirements using an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct user interviews and facilitate sessions to develop business process models and formal specifications
- Perform Agile requirements management activities, including backlog refinement and elaboration of user stories
- Coordinate with Systems Engineers and manage requirements for various projects, ensuring clear communication and documentation
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in engineering or related scientific/technical discipline with ten years of experience, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with the US Department of Veterans Affairs and in a SAFe Agile environment
- Strong expertise with JIRA tools and advanced use of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is a plus
- Healthcare billing and claims processing application knowledge is strongly preferred
