Senior Fund Accountant

Job Summary

Leading key workstreams in client onboarding, the full-time Senior Fund Accountant will manage the conversion and reconciliation of historical accounting data, prepare financial data for review, and guide fund accountants in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Convert and reconcile historical accounting data from prior administrators or systems
• Perform and self-review trial balance, capital account, and transaction reconciliations
• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for reconciliation and data issues, providing guidance to fund accountants

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2 years of fund accounting or fund administration experience, preferably in private equity
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of private-equity fund structures and partner capital accounting
• Experience with fund accounting systems (Intacct, Investran, Allvue, etc.) preferred
