Senior General Ledger Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing cloud-based platform, the full-time Senior General Ledger Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, reconcile accounts, and prepare period-end analyses while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an accurate and timely month-end close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements for internal and external parties
- Coordinate with other departments to obtain transaction information and resolve accounting issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance with an Accounting emphasis
- 2-4 years of total Accounting experience, including multi-entity accounting
- Proficient in US GAAP and accrual basis accounting
- Experience with a large ERP system; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Strong aptitude for business software applications and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
