Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time Senior Geospatial Analyst will manage geospatial datasets, perform spatial analysis, and ensure data quality in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Acquire, organize, and maintain geospatial datasets for DHS mission programs
- Perform routine geoprocessing and spatial analysis while ensuring data quality and compliance
- Create and maintain metadata and assist with the design of web maps and geospatial services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, cartography, or data management
- Proficiency in ESRI technology such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Understanding of spatial data concepts and experience with data formats like JSON and SQL
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and meet DHS suitability requirements
