To enhance the shared platform functionalities of Elasticsearch, the full-time Senior Go/Kubernetes Engineer will design and manage distributed systems for serverless projects, contribute to core infrastructure evolution, and lead cross-team projects in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build distributed systems that manage Serverless Elasticsearch projects across cloud providers
- Contribute to impactful projects that evolve the core infrastructure of Elasticsearch
- Own the orchestration of Elasticsearch clusters using Kubernetes in cloud environments
Required qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Go, including concurrency primitives and error handling
- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience in crafting APIs and understanding tradeoffs in design
- Proficient in algorithms and data structures
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects across engineering teams
