Job Summary
To drive governance architecture for a strategic enterprise data modernization engagement, the full-time Senior Governance Architect will assess current governance capabilities, evaluate technology stacks, and design enabling architecture for a global industrial manufacturing client, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Assess the client's governance capabilities and create a prioritized roadmap for improvement
- Evaluate and recommend governance technology solutions across Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks
- Design the governance architecture for metadata, catalog, lineage, data quality, and master data management
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, or data management roles
- Proven experience with Microsoft Purview and Unity Catalog for governance tasks
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks
- Experience running structured technology evaluations and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
- Familiarity with AI governance and extending data controls to machine learning workloads
