Senior Graphic Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Graphic Designer to serve as a creative leader and visual brand steward in a remote capacity, responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality visual content across various channels to enhance the University's brand and support institutional priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and produce on-brand visual content for print, digital, web, and social media platforms
• Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers and student workers while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certificate in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Five to seven years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in an agency, corporate, or higher education setting
• Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Thorough understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and print production
• Demonstrated ability to generate original concepts and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
