Senior Harness Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Harness Engineer working remotely, the candidate will design, build, and support core components of harness systems to ensure AI-generated outputs meet quality and safety standards while independently owning subsystems and driving team-wide standardization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy core harness components, including guides and feedback loops, to enhance production-grade engineering
• Own and evolve feedforward guides and quality gating processes, establishing standards for agent-produced work
• Build and implement feedback sensors and testing infrastructure to ensure AI output meets defined quality thresholds

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant commercial experience in software architecture and development
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and a strong foundation in software architecture and design
• Proven ability to build engineering tooling, including CI/CD pipelines and static analysis tools
• Experience with spec-driven development and quality-gating processes for engineering standards
• Working knowledge of security considerations unique to autonomous agents and consumer/contract testing approaches
