Job Summary
To advance health services research, the full-time Senior Health Services Researcher will conduct qualitative research and analysis, translate findings into actionable resources for primary care providers, and lead methodological initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and oversee qualitative research activities, including interviews and thematic analysis, to inform primary care delivery and workforce development
- Translate complex research findings into practical materials for health center teams and policymakers, ensuring accessibility and usability
- Lead grant development efforts and serve as Principal Investigator on funded projects, contributing to scholarly publications and national presentations
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree in public health, epidemiology, health services research, or related field, or a Master's degree with at least 7 years of relevant research experience
- Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible research experience with a strong publication record
- Advanced knowledge of qualitative methodologies and proficiency in qualitative data analysis software
- Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) data in health services research
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement mixed-methods studies
