Senior Healthcare Application Developer
Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Senior Healthcare Application Developer will design and develop secure, scalable healthcare applications using FHIR data and interoperability services in a 100% remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support healthcare applications and reusable components utilizing FHIR data and interoperability services
- Develop the SMART on FHIR application framework and integrate applications with clinical and quality data services
- Collaborate with technical teams and external partners on testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of related application development experience
- Experience developing modern web applications, including front-end and back-end components
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs using JSON and SQL
- Proficiency in Java or a similar programming language and JavaScript or TypeScript
- Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and solve complex application and integration problems
