Job Summary
To support complex healthcare insurance projects, the remote Senior Healthcare Business Analyst will elicit, analyze, document, and manage requirements for business processes and systems, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and adherence to project plans.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit and document requirements for complex departmental and corporate projects, ensuring alignment with business processes and stakeholder needs
- Drive business readiness activities and support training to enhance project implementation efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain reporting tools to measure business area performance and conduct post-implementation audits to address process weaknesses
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 5+ years of experience in a related field, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree
- Extensive experience in healthcare insurance, particularly with medical appeals or large plan implementations
- Strong background in managing complex business requirements and stakeholder communication
- Proficient in industry-standard analysis techniques such as data flow modeling and business process mapping
