Senior Healthcare Claims Processor

Job Summary

To support the World Trade Center Health Program, the full-time Senior Healthcare Claims Processor will manage claims processing operations, develop standard operating procedures, and provide lead-level expertise while working remotely within the Eastern Standard Time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and operational readiness of healthcare claims operations, including defining workflows and conducting user acceptance testing
• Develop and maintain claims processing standard operating procedures, ensuring alignment with program requirements and operational expectations
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance and training for healthcare claims processors, addressing complex claims issues and supporting knowledge development

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare claims processing or related operations
• Demonstrated experience in developing standard operating procedures and training materials
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end healthcare claims lifecycle
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and other collaboration tools
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is required
