Job Summary
To support the transformation of healthcare claims processing, the remote Senior Healthcare Data Analyst will design data transformations, ensure data quality, and serve as a subject matter expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance payment integrity and drive AI adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data transformations for medical and institutional claims, applying healthcare coding standards
- Perform detailed audits and write SQL queries to validate pipeline output and ensure data accuracy
- Identify overpayment patterns and collaborate with various teams to translate healthcare requirements into scalable data solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience working with healthcare claims data, including knowledge of coding systems and claim types
- Hands-on experience with payment integrity processes such as overpayment detection and claim editing logic
- Advanced SQL proficiency for writing complex analytical queries against large datasets
