Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Senior Healthcare Fraud Investigator will focus on healthcare fraud lead development, case analysis, and program integrity support, ensuring compliance and integrity within the Veterans Health Administration.
Key responsibilities
- Review and validate fraud, waste, and abuse leads using analytics platforms
- Develop investigative case packages related to healthcare fraud and billing schemes
- Collaborate with VA stakeholders to support briefings and operational reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 8+ years of experience in federal healthcare program integrity and fraud investigations
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or VHA healthcare programs
- Working knowledge of relevant laws such as the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute
- Ability to pass or maintain a Tier 2 / Moderate Background Investigation (MBI)
