Working remotely on a 6-month contract basis, the Senior Healthcare Informatics Analyst will provide independent analytics to enhance healthcare value and utilization, focusing on patient outcomes, provider performance, and risk-adjusted revenue optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of analytic attributes related to healthcare utilization and outcomes
- Collaborate with various departments to solve problems and develop strategic solutions
- Perform advanced descriptive and analytic studies using statistical techniques and tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, statistics, economics, analytics, or computer science; Master's preferred
- Four years of relevant experience in healthcare, analytics, IT, or management consulting
- Experience building predictive models and knowledge of outcome research design
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, Python, and Tableau for data analysis and visualization
- Strong understanding of provider payment methodologies and population health management
