Senior Healthcare Integration Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Senior Healthcare Integration Engineer will design and implement secure integrations across EHR, claims, public-health, and partner systems in a 100% remote role.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable integrations among healthcare applications and external systems
- Engineer and configure MLLP gateways, Apache NiFi pipelines, and Open Integration Engine adapters
- Troubleshoot complex interface issues and document technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related software integration engineering experience
- Experience developing healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2 and MLLP
- Experience configuring Apache NiFi pipelines and Open Integration Engine adapters
- Strong skills in data mapping, transformation, and message routing
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across various teams
