Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior HEDIS Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage the review and abstraction of clinical information from medical records for HEDIS quality reporting, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and conducting quality audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and abstract clinical information from medical records for HEDIS quality reporting
- Conduct quality audits and validation reviews of abstracted medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with provider offices to obtain medical records and follow up on outstanding documentation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of direct HEDIS experience
- Strong hands-on experience with HEDIS medical record review and clinical abstraction
- Previous experience performing HEDIS quality audits and validation reviews
- Demonstrated knowledge of HEDIS measures and clinical documentation requirements
- Strong understanding of HIPAA privacy and security requirements
