Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design and engineering of high voltage electrical systems for hyperscale data centers, the full-time Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership on complex capital projects, focusing on system architecture development, utility coordination, and engineering oversight in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of high voltage electrical systems and utility-scale substations for data center campuses
- Architect electrical distribution systems and develop campus electrical master plans to support phased build-out of multi-building data centers
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, serving as a trusted advisor on electrical infrastructure strategy and capacity planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in high voltage power systems and substation design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing or ability to obtain licensure in multiple states
- Deep expertise in medium and high voltage electrical system design and utility interconnection
- Expert-level proficiency with electrical analysis software such as SKM PowerTools or ETAP
