Job Summary
Serving as the organization's technical and functional authority for public health interoperability, the full-time Senior HL7 Analyst will focus on HL7 v2 immunization messaging and FHIR-based exchange while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance interoperability solutions in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the primary expert for HL7 v2 immunization messaging and healthcare interoperability standards
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Quality, and Implementation teams to design and support interoperability solutions
- Translate complex HL7, FHIR, and CDC requirements into practical application behavior and testing scenarios
Required qualifications:
- Deep expertise in HL7 v2.x and immunization workflows
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR R4
- Experience in troubleshooting message validation and interoperability issues in production environments
- Proficient in SQL for operational analysis and data investigation
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP services, OAuth 2.0, and healthcare integration patterns
