Senior HPC Storage Engineer
Job Summary
Working full-time in a hybrid environment, the Senior HPC Storage Engineer will bridge storage infrastructure and chip design workloads, focusing on evaluating storage technologies and optimizing performance for EDA and HPC applications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead evaluations of storage technologies and execute POCs using real EDA workload profiles to benchmark performance
- Analyze storage configurations to recommend architectural changes that reduce job execution time for EDA workloads
- Define storage policies and best practices, including data lifecycle management and capacity planning recommendations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience with large-scale NFS and networked storage systems in Linux environments
- Hands-on experience with enterprise or HPC storage platforms such as NetApp or VAST
- Proficient in Python and Bash scripting for automation and tooling
- Experience with cloud-based storage solutions and observability systems for monitoring storage performance
