Senior HR Consultant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the part-time hourly Senior HR Consultant will provide hands-on HR support and strategic guidance to multiple small business clients, focusing on various aspects of the employee lifecycle while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies across functional areas including compliance, benefits, and talent management
• Conduct HR audits and assist in employee handbook and policy development
• Manage recruiting processes, employee onboarding and off-boarding, and employee relations issues

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant HR experience in a generalist/manager role at a small to mid-sized company
• 3+ years of HR experience in a private equity/venture capital backed company and/or start-up
• PHR and/or SHRM-CP certifications are a plus
• Thorough knowledge of employment law and experience with multi-state employment laws
• Proven track record of building and improving operational processes and procedures
