Senior IAM Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance identity security and access management, the full-time Senior IAM Security Engineer will build, scale, and secure the identity and access management ecosystem across cloud, SaaS, and AI environments, focusing on Terraform-based automation and risk reduction, while working remotely or in a hybrid model if based in Barcelona.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve IAM architecture to support cloud-first environments and implement least-privilege access models
• Own and improve Terraform-based IAM automation, including the creation of reusable modules and workflows
• Lead initiatives to reduce identity-related risks and enhance Zero Trust security controls across the organization

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in IAM security engineering or related security roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS IAM, GCP IAM, and Okta administration
• Proven expertise in Terraform-based automation and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Experience with federated identity protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and least-privilege engineering principles
