Senior IAM Security Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance identity security across cloud and SaaS environments, the remote or hybrid Senior IAM Security Engineer will build and scale IAM architecture, manage Terraform-based automation, and lead initiatives to reduce identity-related risks and improve access controls.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evolve IAM architecture for high-scale environments, focusing on automation and least-privilege access
- Own Terraform-based IAM automation, creating reusable modules and workflows for identity management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize secure identity patterns and improve access visibility
Required qualifications
- 8-12+ years of experience in IAM security engineering or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS IAM, GCP IAM, and Okta administration
- Proficiency in Terraform-based automation and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience with federated identity protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and Zero Trust access models
