Senior IBMi Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior IBMi Engineer will evaluate system specifications, analyze enterprise infrastructure, and recommend modifications to enhance system reliability and scalability while leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows and automate tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate system specifications and recommend modifications for hardware and software compatibility
- Analyze existing infrastructure to enhance reliability, availability, and serviceability
- Lead complex infrastructure projects and provide consultation across various enterprise teams
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with IBMi in a System Administrator role
- 3+ years of experience working with Independent ASPs (iASPs)
- 3+ years of experience supporting high-availability enterprise environments and disaster recovery planning
- 3+ years of experience with replication technologies such as Clustering, PowerHA, or MIMIX
