Senior Identity Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance identity security capabilities, the full-time Senior Identity Engineer will design, implement, and manage identity lifecycle automation and governance processes for workforce and non-human identities, while providing technical leadership and expertise in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of identity lifecycle automation processes integrating various platforms and applications
• Establish governance standards and lifecycle controls for non-human identities, ensuring compliance with security and audit requirements
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for identity-related issues, partnering with security teams to enhance detection and incident response

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 7+ years of experience in IAM, identity security, or related enterprise technology, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including lifecycle workflows and access management
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API; familiarity with Python, REST API, and SCIM preferred
• Understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, and NIST, along with audit expectations in identity management
