Senior Identity Governance Engineer

Job Summary

To engineer the governance layer of a next-generation identity fabric, the full-time Senior Identity Governance Engineer will work remotely to ensure that all identities have the appropriate access while managing authentication and authorization design standards, entitlement models, and access review automation.

Key responsibilities

• Define governance requirements and design patterns for access request workflows across privileged systems
• Partner with Security Architecture to establish authentication and authorization design standards for enterprise tools
• Build and operate tooling and automation behind the user access review program and lifecycle management controls

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in identity governance and administration, with a strong understanding of lifecycle management and entitlement modeling
• Hands-on experience with identity governance tools such as Veza, Lumos, and Okta
• Working knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (SSO, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, MFA)
• Proven experience governing non-human identities in cloud-native environments
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python or Go) and API integration experience
