Senior Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

As the most senior responder on the team, the full-time Senior Incident Response Analyst will manage incidents involving advanced persistent threat (APT) and financially motivated (FIN) actors, mentor junior analysts, and author incident reports while working fully remotely in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, contain, and remediate cybersecurity incidents, applying specialized incident response knowledge
• Lead incident response efforts and mentor junior analysts, providing feedback to enhance their skills
• Utilize tools such as Splunk and Microsoft Defender EDR to investigate threats and develop incident reports

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on incident response experience
• Experience handling APT or FIN actors and responding to cloud-based threats in an incident response capacity
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender EDR or equivalent enterprise EDR solutions
• Knowledge of SOC best practices and incident response process improvements
• Bachelor's Degree and a senior-level Incident Response certification such as GIAC GCIH
