Senior Incident Response Consultant

Job Summary

Acting as an incident response engagement lead, the full-time Senior Incident Response Consultant will deliver expert consulting and digital forensics services to external clients during urgent cybersecurity incidents while working remotely within the U.S. and may expect up to 5% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements, conducting digital forensics investigations and malware analysis to determine the scope and impact of security incidents
• Provide 24/7 on-call incident response services to contain active threats and preserve evidence
• Deliver executive-level briefings and written reports, translating technical findings into business impact assessments and actionable recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Cyber Security domain, or equivalent experience through apprenticeship
• Advanced proficiency in Digital Forensics & Incident Response
• Advanced proficiency in Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
• Advanced proficiency in Windows/Linux Operating System Forensics
• Intermediate proficiency in Cloud Security (Azure/AWS/M365)
