Senior Indirect Category Manager
Job Summary
Strategically managing assigned product and service categories, the full-time Senior Indirect Category Manager will develop category strategies, oversee supplier relationships, and drive sourcing initiatives while analyzing market trends to optimize commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and manage overall category performance
- Lead sourcing events, contract negotiations, and build strategic supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor industry trends and conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization and category improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement
- Demonstrated experience leading supplier negotiations and contract management
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Experience managing spend, revenue, and category performance metrics
