Job Summary
Supporting the Department of State's Cyber Security Team, the hybrid remote Senior Information Assurance Security Specialist will manage system-level cybersecurity analysis and authorization documentation for complex consular systems undergoing RMF Steps 1 through 3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct system-level cybersecurity analysis and coordinate stakeholder efforts for RMF Steps 1 through 3
- Develop and document control baselines, architecture packages, and supporting artifacts in compliance with federal mandates
- Evaluate DevSecOps pipeline controls and mentor less experienced staff while providing backup support
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship and a final Secret clearance or higher
- Relevant degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
- Senior-level Federal ISSO or RMF experience with authorization packages for complex systems
- Strong knowledge of NIST RMF, control implementation, and evidence validation
- Ability to document inherited, shared, and system-specific controls accurately
