Senior Information Assurance Specialist
Job Summary
Working in a hybrid remote capacity, the full-time Senior Information Assurance Specialist will evaluate operational security data, manage Tenable operations, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity mandates to protect critical consular systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze Tenable and Wiz findings, confirm affected systems, and coordinate remediation efforts
- Maintain risk assessments, POA&Ms, and current RMF artifacts while supporting FISMA submissions and audits
- Administer and troubleshoot Tenable scanning services, ensuring effective operation and documentation of shift handoffs
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship and a final Secret clearance or higher
- Relevant degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
- Experience in continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and RMF maintenance for Federal systems
- Hands-on administration and troubleshooting experience with Tenable platform
- Availability for assigned shifts and after-hours escalation related to Tenable operations
