Senior Information Security Administrator

Job Summary

To enhance the security posture of the organization, the full-time remote Senior Information Security Administrator will administer and monitor information security systems, manage security tools, and support incident response activities across various environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Protect electronic information and infrastructure from threats while ensuring compliance with security regulations
• Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, and analyze logs for potential security incidents
• Conduct regular security assessments and collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into operations

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, network security, or systems administration with hands-on experience in managing security technologies
• Strong understanding of network security protocols and experience with enterprise-class firewalls and IDS
• Foundational certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience are preferred
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a similar discipline, or equivalent years of service
• Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt quickly to change in a deadline-driven environment
