Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Safeguarding cloud-based healthcare SaaS platforms, the full-time Senior Information Security Engineer will design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade security solutions while focusing on AI/ML security, cloud security, and compliance with regulations like HIPAA and NIST, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring compliance with security standards
• Partner with Data Science and AI Engineering to secure AI model development and implement governance controls for AI systems
• Monitor and triage security alerts, investigate incidents, and develop incident response procedures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or related technical security roles
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern SaaS architectures
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, and security automation
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, and SOC 2 requirements
