Senior Infrastructure Architect
Job Summary
To design and support secure, scalable analytics platforms, the full-time onsite Senior Infrastructure Architect will leverage 10 years of experience in Azure, Azure Databricks, and data engineering to develop PySpark jobs, optimize data pipelines, and implement Azure PaaS/IaaS solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks, ADLS, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Deploy Databricks workspaces and configure Unity Catalog and Delta Sharing
- Design and support Azure networking, security, and high availability/disaster recovery strategies
Required qualifications
- 10 years of experience in Azure and data engineering
- Proficiency in PySpark, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Experience with Azure AI services, including Cognitive Search and Text Analytics
- Familiarity with automation using Python, Bash, and ARM templates
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
