Job Summary
Owning the application layer of an Azure environment for a client in a regulated banking domain, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will deploy, operate, and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure App Service, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure system connectivity and security in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage deployments, node pools, and service discovery on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Oversee the application layer, ensuring proper packaging, deployment, and configuration across AKS and Azure App Service
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement monitoring and alerting for production applications using Azure tools
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or operations, with at least 3 years in Azure
- Production experience with AKS, including deployments and troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of application layer components such as containers, Kubernetes, and secrets management
- Experience managing integration connectivity between systems, including APIs and file transfers
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and vulnerability remediation in Azure environments
