Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the design and evolution of cloud infrastructure systems, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will manage core infrastructure products, define project goals, and build resilient and cost-efficient solutions in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and operate a core infrastructure product or subsystem, ensuring its performance in production
• Define project goals and success metrics, proactively identifying and addressing risks
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to architect scalable services and participate in incident response

Required qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or backend engineering in cloud-based environments (AWS preferred)
• Proven track record of owning and operating significant infrastructure products or subsystems
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, particularly using Terraform or equivalent
• Depth in cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, load balancing, and distributed systems
• Solid programming skills in Go, Python, or a comparable language for production-ready software development
