Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will provide hands-on support for a hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure, focusing on local Cloud, Data Centre, and network infrastructure within a global IT operations team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support the availability of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across the US region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud technologies and networking
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and performance
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience as a cloud/infrastructure engineer or in similar IT roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, M365, and multi-site Active Directory environments
- Strong background in networking, including Layer 2/3, dynamic routing, and firewall management
- Experience with Windows desktop troubleshooting and common Microsoft technologies
- Knowledge of IT security practices and experience with event logging and alerting tools
