Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating across teams, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and operate platform services, focusing on reliability, security, and efficiency while working remotely or from Boston.
Key responsibilities
- Steward core platform services by implementing container orchestration, service mesh, and secrets management at scale
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Security teams to deliver value and enhance developer experience
- Improve observability and automate systems to increase availability and reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR)
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically Kubernetes
- Understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs, and actionable alerts/SLOs
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and programming experience in at least one modern programming language
