Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely during Eastern Time business hours, the contract Senior Infrastructure Engineer will support Data Center Automation initiatives by administering and troubleshooting server infrastructure, diagnosing connectivity issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server infrastructure across various environments
- Investigate and resolve connectivity, network, and authentication issues affecting automation platforms
- Coordinate firewall rule changes and security approvals while documenting troubleshooting steps and infrastructure changes
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
- Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise Linux and/or Windows servers
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and firewall concepts
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and authentication configurations
- Familiarity with RBAC, IAM, and virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
