Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a 12-month contract basis, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will support Data Center Automation initiatives by administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows server infrastructure, ensuring readiness for automation deployments using Ansible and Terraform.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot server infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
- Investigate and resolve connectivity, firewall, and authentication issues affecting deployment processes
- Coordinate with networking and security teams to manage access requests and approvals in a regulated environment
Required Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
- Proficiency in administering enterprise Linux and/or Windows servers
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and firewall concepts
- Experience managing user accounts and permissions, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms
