Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a 12-month contract basis, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will support Data Center Automation initiatives by administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows server infrastructure, ensuring readiness for deployments, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve connectivity and access issues.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot server infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
- Investigate and resolve connectivity issues impacting automation platform communications
- Coordinate firewall rule changes, network access requests, and security approvals in a regulated environment
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
- Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise Linux and/or Windows servers
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and firewall concepts
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and authentication configurations
- Familiarity with RBAC, IAM, and Active Directory or similar access-management technologies
